Hey Model Mayhem Community!

Ever since my mother was recruited by the NYC Department Of Education as an English teacher, I've wanted to get into modeling but for a while I was unable to make my dreams come true. When my family moved to NYC in 2003 I attempted to model and act because I felt that it was my passion. That didn't work out because I didn't have a social security number yet. So for years I've had to stand by the wayside and wait until I could finally make my dreams come true.

I am a full time Management student at Brooklyn College and I also started modeling this summer. I am not currently signed with any agencies at the moment but I've been sent on casting calls and pro bono fashion shows to gain experience. The most recent fashion show that Ive done is Senegal Day In the bronx, but I'm always looking for new experiences and ways to build my portfolio.

Photographers I need test shoots! I feel like I don't have enough experience in front of the camera and thats mainly what I'm trying to build. I don't have money in my budget to pay exorbitant fees, because, Again, I'm a full time management student.
