I'm an amateur photographer recently moved to D.C. and am looking to work on a TFCD basis with models interested in building their portfolios.  I work outdoors with available light and have some basic photoshop skills.  (You can see other types of shots I've done at http://www.flickr.com/photos/45062237@N00/.)

My main area of expertise is writing, but from that I bring an interest in creative approaches to photography and come at things with a poet's eye.  I like to produce shots that are both eye-catching and not quite what you might have seen before.

For ten years I worked as the writer and host of various educational TV shows in Canada (http://www.accesstv.ca/Instructors.aspx?tid=1), so I have some sense of what it's like to be facing a camera.  And my TV experience includes both studio and location work.
