TIGER TIGER by Lady Snowblood started as a project to keep me busy while I was trying to figure out my life. When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with drawing girls with different clothes while dressing up my Barbie’s super crazy. When I was a teenager, and going through a “rocker” stage, I would hand sew details to my clothes and alter them to look more “outragous”. So naturally, I thought fashion would be a good career to try and I planned to go to college for it. Well, as years pasted and I became an adult, I was not satisfied with the extreme amount of money it costs to go to an Art College to get a degree in Fashion and be in Student Loan debt during my whole young adulthood. I decided to teach myself to sew and create my own patterns. One sewing machine, serger and dress form later… I am happily creating my own clothing. My apparel has, very much, a Do It Yourself look because my sewing skills are still limited. But I like the D.I.Y. feel for TIGER TIGER. I feel that is works because it stands out stronger as one of a kind, handmade pieces, for your partying needs.
