I always forget to turn off the lights in my apartment. It’s not that I don’t care; I’m just so overwhelmed with thinking about all sorts of other totally awesome things that it slips my mind. That’s probably why I end up taking such long showers too…
I feel that it’s a wonderful thing that the world is filled with people who are all so unique. I believe it’s important for all of us to work together using each of our individual strengths to do what we can to make things better, especially in caring for our home, the Earth. No man is an island… I’m bad at turning off lights and taking short showers, but I find my niche in making beautiful clothes and I like knowing that I'm doing my part by recycling fabrics or using vintage and antique fabrics as much as possible rather than new ones.
My mom started teaching me to sew before I can even remember so I have over 20 years of experience and a lot of creative ideas. I like bright colors and fun patterns and have a special love of nautical things so you can expect to see those things in my designs.
I'd like to find photographers and models local to Asheville, NC to work with.
