I am Ethiopian/Italian, born in Ethiopia and raised in Italy. Moved from Turin, Italy to the US in 1984, when my mom, YUBI (a well known hair stylist) opened her hair salon in Old Town Alexandria. I grew up in the business particularly taking interest in makeup artistry. Started freelancing not long after graduating high school and continue to sharpen technique while blending trendy and traditional style to fit every woman!

I spent 14 yrs representing makeup lines such as MAC, Bobbi Brown, and NARS to name a few. I built a clientelle meeting women at events and shows as they requested one on one time. I enjoy personal time with my clients, it allows me to treat every woman's beauty needs individually.

FYUBI Makeup & Brow Studio launched April 08. Writeups and media attention took my reputation to a new level and allowed me to go into business for myself. I work with celebrities, brides, photographers, and image consultants. I book in-studio as well as on site services.
