About Me

My Name is Kia,
and I'm an island girl! Born and raised in Barbados (a little island in the West Indies!)
I moved to Canada to pursue my dream of being a makeup artist.
I am currently attending Complections International Academy of Makeup Artistry, and I am in the Complete Program which consists of everything from Fashion Makeup to Film and Television Makeup. Theater Makeup, Prosthetics, Creature design, and Studio Hairstyling.
So far, my course has been amazing and I have had many great instructors and many great opportunities!
I have worked on photoshoots for Ryerson students, and I have had the opportunity to work on Miss Universe Canada 2011!
