I am a self-taught photographer and have been making mainly black and white landscape photographs for almost forty years. However when my daughters were in high school they expressed an interest in modeling and as a single parent I couldn't afford to have their portfolio done by a professional photographer so I did it myself. Since I had almost exclusively shot in black and white I did the same for their portfolio and a few other models. Now that I am semi-retired and newly into digital photography I was hoping that through this site, I would be able to shoot models again and build up both a color as well as black and white portfolio and help aspiring models to be able to get photographs with that black and white edge.
