My name is Dewey X. MacKenna, and I am a rope artist, rigger, and sometimes photographer. I am primarily working as a rigger and shibari/kimbaku designer for myself, and for/with other photographers throughout the Midwest.

My creative interests are not in the Damsel-in-Distress or explicit fetish style, but rather as a sensual art form that works with the human body and plays to and accentuates anatomy and form. And, admittedly, as an engineering project. I am an artist, above all else, and a consumate gentleman and professional.

I do not generally pay photographers or models more than travel costs, and do this for the joy of the challenge and the individual nature of the craft, and for the art of it. Please do not contact me seeking to be paid, or paid much, or unless what you offer is unique and your costs are very reasonable. With exceptional models and/or photographers, I will work limited trade at this time. For private session work or all others, I have very reasonable rates.

I hope you enjoy my work and my approach to it, and will ignore the "fetish stigma" of a lot of rope-themed photos carry, and explore the art of it.
