Hello to All!

I'm a mature college professor with a particular love of the photographic art. I am experienced and especially adept at photographing aspiring models, the gentle faces of children, young actresses and performance artists/exhibitionists.

To me, with a camera in hand, it is all about the "capture" most of the time, though poses with concepts are welcome, too. I am most interested in whatever interaction is needed to achieve excellence.

Much of the depletion of the ozone layer has been partially my responsibility having been virtually everywhere in the world over the many years of both my lecturing and my avocation. Currently, there is a small farmhouse in New England where I cast my vote each year, and outposts in New York and London where people actually seek me out. My portfolio has everything from Special Olympians in the US to religious sites in Japan -- what is displayed here is mostly older work related to subjects as described above.

I have a genuine interest to support students, new models and those exploring the medium. I click easily with experienced professionals to enable them to display more natural expressions in their work; achieving that kind of "look" takes emotional maturity in the model-photographer-MU artist collaboration as well as the skills needed to operate digitally; few photographers can just click away and end up with a masterpiece no matter how effective all the other elements are unless they possess this maturity.

I am also interested in producing unique images of shoulders, backs, arms and the curves of torsos much like sculptures without faces, so I do not need models to be super model cover girls. The human body is, in any form, perhaps one of the most beautiful creations in nature. All shapes and sizes, colors and textures fall within this description provided a beating heart resides somewhere in this body. In that regard, fit dance professionals offer a great opportunity for collaboration as do happy, obese moms. Each brings something unique.
