Greetings in Mayhem Land!

I'm a photographer always working to increase my skills and become an even better photographer. My motto: I’m not doing photography to get rich, I’m pursuing my passion for photography to create art.

Some of the reasons I'm here:

* To improve my skills at shooting models (versus landscapes, products, etc.)
* To work with any models who need professional images for their portfolios
* To work with models who have ideas for interesting shoots (studio or location)
* To expand my photography beyond traditional portraiture to more creative and
alternative style shoots
* To expand my photography beyond the studio to doing more location shoots
* To network with other photographers, models, MUAs and stylists in the area or
visitors to the area

What I'm looking for here:

* Models of any experience level to work collaboratively on portfolio development
* Models looking for TF* (sometimes I have paid assignments, but not that often
and can't pay a lot since this is a not-for-profit "business" at the moment)
* Photographers who want to serve as my mentor or have me assist them on
photography projects (studio or location)

Some of the "fine print":

* I don't charge models for shoots and rarely can I pay models much for shoots
* A Model Release is required to protect both me and the model
* My turn-around time for post-production images is typically 2 weeks or less
* I provide digital images only (either on CD or via email) from the shoot unless
we've agreed on prints in advance
* Men: I can help with basic "make-up" (translucent powder to reduce shine,
balm to reduce cracking, etc.)
* Women: I'm afraid you're on your own with make-up--that's beyond my abilities
* I'm comfortable shooting nudes but only if a model wants and requests them
* I always welcome feedback, positive and critical negative, on any images I post
* I'm fine with someone bringing a friend to a shoot as long as I know about it
* I Friend Request people I'd love to work with or who I feel has a very striking
or unique look that appeals to me; I'm happy if you accept the Friend,
and not offended if you decline (and I only ask once)
* I accept all Friend requests - who knows, that one "friendship" might be just
the connection we both need to achieve our creative goals!
