Joseph Mazzola is a New York city based designer. Joe studied Costume design and Fashion History at Nebraska Wesleyan University for a year and was quickly scooped up by New York City after an interview with Daniel Feld and Wesley Nault from Season 5 of Project Runway. Working closely with the designers they created a collection constructed entirely of plastic based materials. .WESFELD won the GenArt New Guarde Competition and showed the collection during NY Fashion week. The collection received rave reviews and Joe was offered a Design Internship with Zac Posen. After working with the design team for 6 months on various collections and celebrity commissions, Joe was hired as the Asst. in the Autilier. He worked closely with the design team on the creation of many collections which showed both in NY and Paris. Joe left his position at Zac Posen to pursue the creation of his own Line. With an influence from the Late 50's and Early 60's Joe is currently working on his first collection which he will be showing during NY Fashion Week in February.
