My name is Michael "Mikey" Phillips; I have been involved in Professional Photography for 5 years now. I absolutely love it! I enjoy the pleasure of being behind the camera and bringing out the beauty one'€™s eye might not see in the moment. My objective is to capture the emotions and expressions from the model in a fun and exciting shoot.

If you have an idea or concept you'd like to shoot, let's talk! We can shoot anywhere you feel comfortable; your house or location of choice, a park or other public place, or studio. The photos I provide you will be sharp, will be cropped properly, and retouched (if you want). No out of focus, over processed plastic skin, or poor lighting here. You'll get some shots that will definitely be a great addition to your port.

Professionalism. Once we set a date for the shoot, you will need to contact me at least 3 days before the shoot to confirm. If you don’t, I’ll try once, maybe twice to contact you. If I don’t hear from you 2 days before the shoot, I will assume it’s off and let you know this by whatever method we have been communicating. If you show up without confirming it’s very possible I am shooting someone else or even someplace else. Time is money and sorry, but I can’t assume you will show if I haven’t heard from you in a month. Note: I have only had this issue with a few young or inexperienced models. This problem is not typical of my TF* shoots and if it doesn't apply to you, please don't be offended. However, I am sure we can all agree that confirming an appointment a few days ahead of time and prompt, proactive communication is necessary in any successful business.

If you can’t make the shoot, let me know as soon as you can. I’m happy to reschedule as my openings allow. Rescheduling can sometimes be a problem do to previous bookings, but we can usually squeeze it in.

I’ll have the studio and lights set and ready to go (if shooting indoors). I ask you be ready to go as well. Please don’t arrive late and take 30 minutes or longer putting on make-up and doing hair. The basics should be done before you arrive, although a quick touch up of hair and make-up is fine. This is flexible, especially if we are using a MUA or hairstylist, or for a special look for the shoot. If so, it will be planned into the schedule accordingly.

I have shot many entertainment celebrities and models in the New Mexico Area and would like to expand my experience throughout the Southwest.

I have flexible schedule, so fitting shoots is not a problem. I would like to build the content of my portfolio from everything from glamour to tasteful/ artistic style photography.

TFP Policy: I love that so many people want to shoot with me - thank you! But due to a very tight shoot schedule I am unable to accommodate every TF request. I do very limited TF and only for fantasy art, artistic imaging, glamour projects and fine art test, though there are always exceptions. If you have a creative idea please let me know and we'll discuss your ideas. I'm very open, easy to work with, and enjoy allowing models to be creative and expressive, and to collaborate to create something unique and exciting.

If you wish to do something outside of my TF styles, or outside of glamour magazine and commercial print submissions, please know that I'm open to a wide variety of styles, and my rates are quite competitive.

Escort Policy: While I’m not a fan of it, I understand your concerns. So you are more than welcome to bring escorts to any shoot if you feel it's absolutely necessary, though please NO jealous or overly protective types. Hopefully we can all be professional enough that they are not a distraction to our work, or stifle our creativity. To that end, we should openly discuss all our expectations beforehand, so there's no misunderstanding during the shoot.

Please, No Jealous Boyfriends, No Jealous Husbands (Too many times there is drama or you the model, are rushed to finish), No Games, No BS, No Drama, No Last Minute Cancellations!!!  I don't set aside time away from my family and friends for nothing. Thank you for your cooperation.

Paperwork:For most all shoots I do utilize a Model Release, Usage Rights, and a Usage Agreement.

What types of looks that you wish to achieve for your portfolio.

A meeting prior to the shoot is preferred. One, we can talk about ideas, wardrobe, etc. Two, we get a feel for each others €™s personalities and it makes things much more comfortable upon arrival for the shoot. The only exception is if you are a good distance away. Is that'€™s the case we will make other arrangements.
