Born and raised in Northern California, Michelle developed an interest in photography, painting, and theater at a young age. Michelle first discovered her passion for make-up when she was asked to volunteer at a high school play. There she watched a make-up artist glide on highlights and shadows, explaining manipulation and illusion, leaving her in awe. After her graduation, she enrolled in Lytle’s Redwood Empire Beauty College and became focused on turning her new passion into a life long career. Michelle received her cosmetology license and began working in a high end salon as well as enrolling at a local junior college studying Theater Make-up. As a student she studied numerous concentrations such as, acting, costuming, history of theater, beginning and advanced theater make-up. Michelle gained experience working on performances such as Comedy of Errors, Jesus Christ Superstar and Sweeney Todd. When Michelle’s program came to an end she decided to move to Los Angeles where she currently attends MUD, studying the masters make-up program. With her background in theater arts, Michelle is now focused on making film and television her new goal. Michelle is excited to continue learning all that she can about the business of the industry from both top and upcoming artists. Michelle brings enthusiasm and warmth to every assignment, making her clients feel playful and beautiful.
