Creativity is the moving force of humanity to fill our endless need to identify ourselves as one. That which raises from us a feeling, an emotion, a sense of a deeper connection and understanding to what the image shows - a bridge to that "silent language" we speak without a sound, but with our own presence. All a multiplicity of stories that unite us not divide. That day I knew it was only the power of the unknown — the nameless that stirs could bring us together. Finding a way to reach fires burning inside, led me to the shores of Mexico & Peru - Chile & Brazil - Costa Rica & Rome - Paris & Zurich - Miami & L.A - New York.
People always think it is a magnificent event that moves a woman or man to create but in truth, it's a simple moment — the smile of a child in Cuzco who regardless of all she has apparently endured, joy will never leave her, and her half toothed smile she was given will change many lives who gaze upon it as the wisdom of life resides in those brown eyes. It did mine.
