Maria Baez is an editorial makeup artist in NYC. Maria has worked with some of the most celebrated upcoming young designers, photographers, and models. Her work has featured on the covers of W27 Newspaper and other print campaigns.

Beaz was born in Mexico, But raised in New Rochelle NY since she was 3 months old. She and her brother Jesus Baez were raised with an appreciation for the arts.
​
At the age of 17, while still in high school Maria started as a former intern with Patricia Field (costume/fashion designer and stylist of Sex and the City, The Devil Wears Prada, Ugly Betty and Confessions of a Shopaholic). Interning for Patricia, gave her many beneficial hands on experience in the fashion industry.

With determination and through perseverance, Maria Baez puts her best foot forward to try to make her mark in the industry.
​
On April 2012, Maria received an invite from Tearsheet (editorial educational program specialized on the education of hairstylist). They offered her to join their artistic team, as one of their makeup artists for the IBS Show in NYC.
​
As a passionate, driven individual, she likes to jump on any opportunity that comes in her way!

Maria keeps busy in the Greater NYC by freelancing. She places her career first and continues to challenge herself everyday, in hopes of sharing her vision of modern beauty with women everywhere by empowering and enhancing their natural beauty.
