That means exploring beyond my usual centers in photojournalism, product, gourmet food, architectural spaces, studio portrait, etc.

So how about contextual portraiture, photojournalistic portraiture, outdoor portraiture, photobiography, fashion/glamour? Unconventional wedding, creative HS senior, elderly senior?

My taste in people photography runs toward the theatrical, images with emotional punch that tell a story. Equally important is visual pleasure (other than prurient) and sensuousness. Portraits that go well beyond the formulaic.
