Hi,
My name is Marisol. When I first knew that I wanted to become a Makeup artist is when I saw Rick Baker, American Werewolf in London (1981). In a certain scene of the movie where David Naughton is transforming into the wolf was phenomenal.The transformation scene was a milestone in visual effects. It was watching a real-time twisting of a human body into a wolf shape: limbs stretch, snouts pop, hair grows, the body contorts...it was just too amazing to watch. At that moment that's when I knew I didn't want to be anything more than a Makeup artist.
I consider myself more of an SPFX artist, but I am interested in all types such as Beauty, High Fashion, Theatre, Special Effects, Special Occasions, etc. I am looking for experience and references to keep full filling my portfolio.
