I focus mainly on portraiture ,figure and still life.The paintings are in a traditional realist style but I try to combine the knowledge of the past such as drawing according to anatomical and structural knowledge,understanding the influence of light on natural forms.My materials are used true ages from Van Eyck till no namely oil colour on canvas and panel.
The use of the understanding of colour and the colour of light by The Impressionists is what puts my work in the natural evolution of painting and what makes it contemporary.
