GiGi has always had a passion for emerging trends with music and fashion. As a child, she was constantly involved in dance and music recitals, which inevitably taught her the importance of fundamentals and structure. Yet, GiGi was always been one to dance to the rhythm of her own song.

After graduating high school in 2007, GiGi danced around the idea of college but decided to follow the rhythm of her heart, which lead her straight into the doors of the Aveda Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. It was there, where GiGi discovered her love and passion for hair, which inevitably became life's song.

Shortly after graduating from Aveda, GiGi embarked on her hair-styling journey with Toni & Guy, specializing in dimensional color, ombre and color corrections. GiGi became involved in several photo-shoots and attended the 2010 T&G photographic awards in Los Angeles.

To continue to fulfill her passion for hair, GiGi began her own salon in 2012 and has been pouring her heart and soul into Heart & Soul Salon ever since. She excels in hair color as well as cutting and is constantly furthering her knowledge on the top cutting, styling and color techniques.
