About Me
Firstly, I'm not truly a "photographer"... While I had aspirations to be a landscape photographer as a teenager, it turned out to be more of an excuse for taking roadtrips and avoiding college than any sort of a calling. But, I do know how a camera performs.
I'm really just a general artist who enjoys playing with light and color and the way they interact across the human body. I started doing art nude photography several years ago, as a rebellion against all the images of women without clothes lying spread out across a fancy hotel bed that people were calling artistic nudes. As if the mere fact that the pictures weren't taken in a messy bedroom immediately made them "art". So, I began a project to create works that were more art than nude. While I greatly enjoy making these pieces of beauty, it only took a couple years to discover that the world isn't interested in paying for nudes done with taste and artistry to hang on the wall. It seems most of the world is plenty happy with the huge pile of free internet nudity, and the nudity is all they are after. :( In the 10 years that I've shot artistic nudes that I feel are actually artistic, I have seen little interest from "the art scene", but I enjoy the creativity of it all. And creating something beautiful is always a warm-fuzzy Models who work with me will not gain any exposure to further their modeling endeavors, as I no longer make the efforts to try and get my work exhibited. Trying to make a living as an artist is a full-time job that often pays horribly little. In fact, I keep hoping that someday a model I work with makes it big, and I get "discovered" through being part of her portfolio. lol These days, I do a bit of this and that, photographically speaking. I occasionally still hire models for creating my own works, but have been doing more for-profit shooting (senior portraits, private boudoir, etc.) with some creativity, but less "artsy". The nudes that I shoot are generally not explicit or erotic, unless the model herself is looking to get such shots for her own portfolio.. I try to present my subject in ways that highlight the motion and flow of the female body, rather than just show someone off for the world to gawk at. The images in my portfolio here are a good example of as "racy" as most of my nude work ever gets. The photography rates I charge, and modeling pay I offer depend on the style of session and the usage rights involved. Feel free to send a friend request, and we can maybe talk about making some interesting images in the future. Thanks for reading, Aaron Verified Credits (5)Worked with Light Snack Photography? "Aaron is wonderful to work with. The comfort of his models is his number one priority. He sets the room temperature according to what you're comfortable with (I run cold so he always turns the AC off 30mins before I get there), provides a comfy robe to cover up with during breaks, as well as refreshments according to your specifications. The shoots are fun, I enjoy conversing with him, and he always remains professional. I love that he allows me to contribute ideas and experiment with poses. My shoots with Aaron have definitely increased my confidence as a model. I look forward to future shoots!" Read less

"I have worked with Aaron twice now, and both times he has been very professional. He is also easy going, and understands how to direct his models, as well as how to let them pose themselves. As stated by some of the other models he has worked with, Aaron is very accommodating in terms of room temperature, having refreshments on hand, and supplying a robe for models to wear during breaks. I will continue to work with him for all of these reasons, and because his work is not the typical guy-with-a-camera-hotel-room-shoot style that I see so frequently. Whether you're new to modeling, or just looking to do something different, I recommend working with Aaron." Read less
