Hi everyone, thanks for visiting my profile.

My name is /pam, and my modeling alias is Smashing Pandora.  I'm 23 years old, and I live in Manteo, NC.

[PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT HERE TO HOOK UP.  I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE ANY MESSAGES PERTAINING TO SUCH!  I AM IN A MONOGAMOUS RELATIONSHIP WITH MY GIRLFRIEND MOLLIE, I DO NOT INTEND TO DO OTHERWISE.  THANK YOU.  ... ugh]

I'm new to the modeling scene, and am eager to learn more every day.  I love meeting new people, and I love collaborating with artists of all kinds to achieve many different creative visions!! 

I am a plus-sized model, but that doesn't mean that I can't give you my very best and work it for the camera. 

I can tone my alternative look down and have a more conservative feel.  I can go all-out and put on a club kid face.  I can be whoever, or whatever you'd like to me to be, just so long as we can be professional.

I am NOT looking to do nude modeling.  Implied nudity is alright depending on the assignment, and if I'm comfortable with the project, the photographer, the situation and all variables of the shoot.  Please do not ask me otherwise.

My model mayhem account is here as a means of meeting other models, photographers, and stylists with whom we can all get together and CREATE.  Art is my passion, and bringing visions to life is what I am here for.  Nothing else.  This is not myspace.com or adultfriendfinder -- I expect that you are all professional, and you want to be treated with respect.  I expect the same from you all.  Please, no crude messages, or lack of professionalism.  I will be less likely to respond to you AT ALL.

If you are interested in working with me, please do not hesitate to ask.  Whether you are a designer, a photographer, a makeup artist, or a model -- if you think that I can somehow bring something to your vision, by all means do let me know.

Being professional is very important to me.  If it's possible, I LIKE to meet photographers before we actually shoot, whether it's just going out and having a cup of coffee, or meeting up at an event that we both happen to be attending.  Being able to get together and discuss what both parties want out of working together (in my opinion) always helps the shoot in the long-run.

I'm interested in working with a wide-range of projects.  Some may include, but are NOT limited to the following "themes"/styles:

- "Chrome/Chrome Blender"
- "Broken Dolls"  (over done theme, perhaps, but I have some ideas that I think might make this an artistically unique shoot)

I'm always open for others' ideas.  So please, let me know if you have something to share

I'm a very nice person, and I'm fun to be around.  I can bring a new spark of glitter to your work.  Give me a chance.  I won't let you down.

I'd really like to expand my portfolio and get better experience.  I love working with other models, and haven't had enough opportunities to do so.  I also love to have photographers who KNOW WHAT THEY WANT out of a shoot.  I've had too many times where I've tried to collaborate with "photographers" who didn't know what they wanted out of the shoot other than to have a social event and hang out -- if this is you PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME.  I am trying to create art, not spend 6 hours getting ready, only to find out that you didn't want to take pictures, but you really only wanted to hang out.  That's not professional, kids.  If you want to hang out -- LET ME KNOW.  If you want to do a photoshoot -- let me know.  Don't drag me out to do a shoot and then NOT do it because you just wanted to get to know me and be my friend.  That's not cool.  (This is not in any way intended to sound bitchy, I've just had some really BAD experiences with photographers who just wanted to hang out, and weren't PREPARED to have a photoshoot... and I'd wasted hours and hours of my time getting everything perfect and to to the T for NOTHING.  I don't want this to happen to me ever again.  It's very irritating... and like I said, a waste of makeup.  MAC is NOT inexpensive... so unless you'd like to reimburse me... hahaha... don't do it!  ^_^)

I am not on model mayhem as a popularity contest.  If you'd like to add me, please message me, comment, let me know that you're not just flying through different profiles and clicking "add" at the top.  If you're looking for a profile like that -- myspace is the PERFECT place for you to be.

I wish that everyone on Model Mayhem could be as professional as I'd like for us to all be, but alas there are always the flakey people who don't follow through and who don't call back, and who cancel for ridiculous reasons.  I understand -- THINGS COME UP.  If you have to cancel with me for ANY REASON.  Please try to be courteous and give me some notice.  I don't want to have my hair done, and my makeup completed, and have you call me 30 minutes before telling me that you're sick.  It's not fair to me.  I wouldn't do that to you.

If I ever ever ever have to cancel for anything, I do my very best to give as much notice as possible, and I try to set up a "raincheck" so that we can follow up on our plans.

I just ask for the same courtesy that you'd like to be given.  I feel like because I'm newer to the industry people have been mistreating me as a model, because I don't have this great big established name, and that's not cool.  If you are going to mistreat me, I will not hesitate to give you bad feedback thereafter.  Keep that in mind.
