About Me

I am a long time photographer in the Sacramento area.  I specialize in doing model portfolio work, studio, outdoor, and sports photography.  I also conduct photography related workshops on camera basics, lighting, model posing, and image retouching (http://www.SacPhotoWorkshops.com) and have and instructional DVD on Studio Lighting (http://www.PhotographyDVDs.com).  I am always looking for models and/or MUA in the greater Sacramento area that need quality pictures for their portfolios.

If you work with me you can expect someone that over communicates.  I am a professional and insist on working only with people that are professional as well.

I like to have fun but this is not a game to me.  I do a number of different types and styles of photography additionally I do a number of workshops through out the year.  If you are interested in being a model for one of my upcoming workshops send me a message through the site.

I only accept "friend" requests from people I know or have worked with.  If you are looking for a reference prior to working with me feel free to contact anyone on my friend list.

As I mentioned above I am an over communicator to the point of being a pest.  When we have a shoot scheduled I will check in with you at least a week prior and then 2 days prior as well.  Understand that often times when I am doing a workshop I may only cast one model since most of my workshops are designed for smaller groups for more one-on-one instruction.  In these cases a no show by model is catastrophic.  To avoid this I try to have good contact with my model up until the shoot.  I also require a cell number and email address from all of my models prior to confirming them.  So far this process has served me well except on a few occasions.
