My Name is Mark Varley.
I take photographs of things,
I take photographs of people,
I take photographs of naked people,
sometimes I tie them up first.

I first picked up a camera at the age of 15, I loved art but was terrible at every medium I tried, it turned out I had talent with a camera.
It was a hobby until about 2002 when I made it my job, I had long admired artistic nudes and in 2004 I decided to give them a try, it turned out I had talent with the nude form.
Since then I have been a full-time, self-employed photographer, I (only) shoot Artistic Nude, Figure Nude, Fine-Art Nude, Erotica & Shibari.
I'm best known for my bondage/shibari photography, I'm a part-time professional rope bondage artist with over 25 years of experience (13 years professionally), that combines with my (currently) 14 years as a professional photographer to make me unusually experienced in these specific fields.

I don't hire models for most of my shoots, when I have paid work from a client I hire models I already have a good working relationship with and I know can deliver.
Most of my work is clients hiring me to photograph them, the client is the model, I also do commissions both artistic and some commercial (within my genres only).
Most of my need for models from sites like this is for my personal projects, usually published as books, I also sell prints, my models receive a share of the profits from book and print sales and can use the photos as-per TFP.

I consider myself an artist, I create beautiful things, and sometimes 'interesting' things (mostly 'Beautiful'), my passion, my drive, is beauty.
