HelCat Studios is a natural light studio located in a loft style condo on the top of the wall in Manayunk, Philadelphia featuring 18 ft ceilings, hardwood floors, fireplace, spiral staircase, and balcony with a beautiful view. The massive windows in both shooting rooms are northwest facing and provide beautiful light all day long. Available for rentals (REFERRALS ONLY)

Upon booking confirmation, I also require your full legal name and contact number. I understand the privacy and separation that some desire, and this information is for myself only.

All bookings (especially those at HelCat Studios) require a $50 non-refundable deposit. If I cancel (which doesn't happen) the deposit will be refunded.

[b]Cancellation Policy[/b]

If you cancel...because I will not... seriously I will not... then please be aware of the following cancellation fees and timeline. Which should be paid no later than 24 hours after our agreed appointment.

-7 days, there is a 25% fee of agreed shoot rate
-72 hours 50% of agreed shoot fee
-48 hours 100% fee of agreed shoot fee

If we are shooting on location, please have a back up indoor location just in case the weather is not on our side. Most times my schedule is stacked and reschedules are incredibly difficult.

[b] My prep [/b]

I will arrive with a clean, make-up free face, in clothes that will not mark or leave lines and my own water/snacks. I almost ALWAYS travel by car and will have wardrobe, a pair of black/nude heels, and full make-up kit to provide both glamour and creative/editorial style looks. If you are bringing on your own MUA please provide their portfolio links prior to the shoot. If you have a specific look or are interested in something more involved please feel free to send reference images my way so I can make sure I have everything I need to accomplish the look successfully and can visualize/strategize the execution of the look/concept =^.^=

Styling/MU/Hair are always considered part of the shoot booking time and [b]not[/b] the first shutter click. I know some photographers may disagree with this, but the presence or lack of make-up is an integral part of the final image. If you have a preference on whether my hair is curly or straight, please let me know ahead of time. It is a quick transition either way.

I give a lot of f*cks about this and have been doing it full time for over a decade (holy moly!!, so my goal is to have fun, creative and productive experiences. I have always felt this way, but the feeling has intensified since I have begun mentoring... I love watching photographers grow. Everyone has to start somewhere, so I book with all levels; folks that just bought their first DSLR to professional commercial photographers. If you are new, I am here to help :)

Not looking for any donations to my pledge based sites, I produce my own content.

Experienced couch surfer and house/pet sitter, I NEVER EVER trade shooting time for hosting or hotel rooms. Also, models did you know when you trade for hosting it's not a TFP any longer and the photographer doesn't actually owe you photos. Common misunderstanding I have noticed.
