My name's Wayne, and I've been a Chicago based Commercial Photographer and owner/operator of Alexis Studios for many years.  During this time, I've been fortunate to also work on assignments or travel, throughout the US and Europe, (and some in Asia, too), as not only a photographer, but as a Journalist or Editor, too.  So I can bring a different perspective to each shoot along with my equipment.

Right now, there are other photographers and assistants who also work with me, on an as needed basis, so there're always extra perspectives that we all bring to each shoot.

MAJOR CHANGE:  In response to you, the models and our commercial clientel, we just finished revamping our business from a strictly studio based operation into "location shooting only" for greater shooting variety and creativity! 

To support this change, we've outfitted a hightop (7+ feet of head room!!) van into a rolling dressing room and image review production vehicle. 

Also, to further support our transition from studio to location shoots, from late Spring thru early Fall, we've also got access to a few boats....including Yachts, to shoot on.  These boats moored at various locations along the Lake Michigan lakefront from downtown Chicago to Waukegan! 

Location shoots being what they are...meaning more difficult since we have to agree on the right locations, support staff, purpose of the shoot, packing requirements, etc....requires more planning for both the photographer (me) and you, the model, art director, or agency rep.  So, for all Commercial half day or longer photo sessions, I require a pre-shoot planning session, either in person, by phone or email, to establish all of the above client requirements in advance, including Usage Rights and all Fees.

For regular Model Portfolio and Fashion sessions, we can usually cover all planning and session requirements prior to the shoot over the phone or by email, without a meeting.

MUAs are available for an extra charge or you can bring your own.

TFP/TFCDs:  I do offer limited numbers of TFPs whenever there's a need to test a new location or idea.   

Regulars for TFPs have often become paid call-backs, referrals, or networked out to other jobs.  No-Call/No-Shows have gone the other direction especially since there is so much time and effort invested in preparation for these shoots!
