          Lena Vesel was born in Chartres, France. She grew up in a little town on the border of Switzerland named Divonne les Bains. An epic childhood, loving family and close friends, Lena was highly energetic and active in various areas such as dance, music, track running, judo, and particularly strong in horseback riding and long distance track racing, and later on Salsa dancing.

          From an early age, Lena’s dream was acting. And many times she urged her parents to send her to Paris to develop her acting skills, but eventually she had to complete high school first to pursue her dream of acting now.
As Lena turned 18 and graduated high school, she had a strong urge to enjoy her new freedom, and to embark on new experiences, travel and explore new things.

          Lena’s mother is French and her Father was from Sarajevo, Bosnia, who worked as a banker in the US for a good part of 20 years. Sadly, when Lena was 13, her father passed away a heart attack.

          Having been a US citizen, upon her graduation from High School and after a short experience working in sales in Switzerland, she decided to head to San Francisco early January 2005 by herself. Having literally no knowledge of the English language, but having a strong passion of new challenges and a need for a new direction in her life. Lena spent her first two months in San Francisco in an English school to learn the basic of the language and supported herself waiting tables at a little retirement home. These were difficult times, having little knowledge of English was not making the process any easier, however, persistence and hard work eventually paid off and her English improved quickly and made it easier to move ahead.

          The thought of modeling came to her mind after meeting a lady who used to be a professional model for many years in New York City. She urged Lena to explore this route and felt that she had what it takes to make it in the fashion industry.
          Although she never pictured herself being a model, and having discussed it with some friends who had experience in the industry, Lena decided to take the advice she got from the former model and give modeling a chance. Although she feels her talent and real aim is acting, modeling poses a good middle step and offers exposure and opportunities that she will ultimately drive towards acting.

          Having just turned 19, Lena explored potential work, and fell in love working as a model. It is for her very related to Acting, as "you always have to play a different character as well when you model, what is a lot of fun !" she says.

                Not much later it was clear to Lena that San Francisco was kind of slow for modeling. So she decided to move to Miami on October 10th 2006… on October 11th she was already rocking the Runway on Miami Fashion Week…
