About Me

Hi, Laura here aka Broken Logic Photography.

My website is BrokenLogicPhotography.co.uk

I work mainly in London, Bucks and Berks. Usually in places such as Camden, High Wycombe, Reading and Maidenhead. I am willing to travel although if it is quite far then travel costs may need to be provided.

I have been behind the camera for about three years now, picking up my first DSLR so I had more control over photographs when I was photographing my friend's gigs. This steadily grew into quite an obsession and now is the focus of my career. I don't have access to a lot of photographic equipment or areas such as lighting or a studio space at the moment so I tend to work on location. I am hoping within the next year to build my own studio space. Another aim in my career is to teach photography. I love to teach people what I know if they have an interest.

My main area of photography is music photography. I shoot a lot of bands and recently have shot DragonForce, Turisas and Threshold. I also work with models but not as much as I would like which is why I joined this site. I also photograph for http://www.apocalypsegirls.co.uk.

I'm interested in finding new and exciting people to work with to create new ideas and explore different areas of photography with. I tend to photograph a lot of females and would like to hear from more male models so I can expand that side of my portfolio.

A lot of my model work is with alternative models. I am keen to continue to explore that and work with people with a variety of alternative images but I am not limited to that. I'd like to work with models who want to do something different to what they usually do to help myself progress and learn.

I am also looking to find MUAs to work with living near to me as I have no experience or talent in this area and with my interest in fashion photography increasing would like to create a wider range of styles for my images.

Finally, I'm looking to meet more photographers. People who would be willing to help me learn and give me fresh ideas and tell me where I'm going wrong. I love to learn as well as teach and would welcome any help I can get.

Laura
