OTSOG Stands On The Shutters Of Giants.

I'm a second generation photographer based in the North San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up in a commercial studio, I was strongly influenced by my associations with many of the local luminaries during the 1950s through 1980s, as well as some of the New Photographers of the New Bauhaus in Chicago, where my father polished his craft.

I produce lifestyle, illustration, personal, stock, and commercial images, using Canon equipment in the studio and on location. And yes, I even use my iPhone! I may be old, but I'm not fossilized. Quite.

Photography is a practice, just as medicine is -- I'm here because I want more practice working with models in structured settings, both studio and location. My commercial work is almost everything I want it to be, except frequent and exciting. I want to expand my practice with people as subjects in art and fashion, and while I'm shooting at least twice a month, I'd rather be shooting twice a week.

Compensation stuff: I have a couple of personal projects I'm willing to hire talent for, in addition to my commercial work. Projects I expect to be paid for: where you direct a shoot and expect, and I deliver, a specific result. Everything else will be TF*: you will get at least one royalty free "straight" headshot for your use.
