Sexy Mature Models 40+
I've seen thread's for Models 30+, but what about us girls that are 40+? Is there a need for us mature models or do the younger models have preference over us? Dec 20 06 10:22 pm Link Lynn not for me I shoot all ages Dec 20 06 10:26 pm Link My fit model is 55 years old. She is in great shape. Dec 20 06 10:26 pm Link Sexy Lynn wrote: ok. I want u. Dec 20 06 10:27 pm Link I would shoot with you :-) Dec 20 06 10:36 pm Link Sexy Lynn wrote: My photographs require models over the age of 18. You and the vast majority of the models over 40 on here are exactly what I want. You tend to listen better and I'm almost always going to like the same music! If you ever head out my way, let me know. Dec 20 06 10:39 pm Link Habenero Photography wrote: I second that! I haven['t shot with anyone over low 30's, but it's not because I'm opposed to it. All of the older modles out here seem to be paid only/commercial (or--well--not my "type").. Dec 20 06 11:30 pm Link Hi Lynn I think the question needs to be more defined. The fashion mags will always use models who are 14-19. The clothing manufacturers use models under 25ish. Fitness models are any age as are editorial. Glamour/fetish/art? It's all about the individual model and what the photographer is seeking. For my personal work, I don't choose a model by age ;-) Dec 20 06 11:32 pm Link If you ever head west, stop in Nebraska on your way. It's not that we're opposed to shooting models our age, it's just that they don't exist! I have a long list of women in their early 40's around here I would love to shoot. Alas, they either feel they aren't attractive (they most definitely are) or they are worried what their kids, neighbors, PTA etc..will think. Dec 21 06 12:16 am Link Sexy Lynn wrote: If you were here in Arizona.. I would be more than willing to do a shoot with you.. Dec 21 06 12:24 am Link I'm currently focusing on creating sets of reference photos which artists use to draw and paint from. The model in my portfolio is proudly 50+ and still gets assignments with artists and photographers alike. She was very pleased earlier this month when a beautiful piece of artwork which she modeled for was displayed in a local art gallery. I prefer the more mature 40+ look, and so do the artists I'm working with. So I think you still have many more years of a modeling career ahead of you. If you are interested in modeling for life drawing and painting, there is never any limit on age. Dec 21 06 12:26 am Link In praise of mature models. Give me a mature model anytime. Classic looks. Nothing to prove. Self assured. Comfortable with their sexuality. Have a great time during the session. On time, prepared. Willing to try new things, most are willing to "push the envelope". Easy to communicate with. All of this shows up in the finished product. I'll work with you any time. Jerry Dec 21 06 12:30 am Link Sexy Lynn wrote: I beg to differ on this point. Dec 21 06 12:42 am Link Age is a number and state of mind, in both cases you seem 29 to me. As for older models as long as they look like you we can crop the cane and walkers out of the photo Dec 21 06 01:15 am Link You're 41???? OMG i hope i look as good as you do when im 41... of course im 20 and get called 15 all the time ( Dec 21 06 01:23 am Link Sexy Lynn wrote: There will always be a need for older models. Dec 21 06 06:32 am Link And a few more pics of the "Better Age"................. Marie - 42 Y/O Dee - 59 Y/O Marie - 42 Y/O Dec 21 06 06:34 am Link I shoot artistic nudes exclusively - or, I should say "more or less" exclusively - figures account for 95% of my work with models. Most of the models in my port are in their mid-late thirties. The youngest is in her late twenties. It would be fabulous if there were more mature models in my region available for figures - FWIW - EDIT: My bad - the youngest model in my port is in her early twenties - two images - Just keepin' things honest - Dec 21 06 06:50 am Link As a couples model I prefer to shoot with more mature female models as well. It is surprising how nervous younger models can be around a male model. And thier nervousness makes me nervous. LOL. I prefer calm, self confident modeling partners. Mac Wolff Dec 21 06 07:35 am Link I photograph models of all ages. Beauty in art is about the connection between the artist and the subject. We all have positive features and it is up to the photographer to find those in models of all ages - the innocence in the young model and the maturity in an older model. I would be interested to hear from older models interested in collaborating on artistic projects. Dec 21 06 07:37 am Link We could do some cool stuff with you here in Cleveland if you get out this way.... Dec 21 06 08:04 am Link You guys are all so sweet and I would love to travel to shoot with all of you if I could!!! I'm glad to hear all of your opinions on this matter as I do have the confindence to do this and I wasn't sure if I could succeed or not. You pointed out alot of things to me that I didn't realize. So thank you very much! I've always felt that Age is just a number. I truely believe that some people, no matter how old they get, never lose their beauty - they merely move it from their faces into their hearts. You can't turn back the clock. But you can wind it up again. Live your life and forget your age. Nobody grows old by merely living a number of years. People grow old by deserting their ideas. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up wrinkles the soul. Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you donât mind, it doesnât matter. Don't go through life, grow through life and in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years! Dec 21 06 08:33 am Link Laura Lester age 40!
