It's expensive, but I really like Dior's loose powder. It's made from cornsilk, instead of talc like every other powder out there. It has the smoothest feel to it you'll ever find in a powder.

the skinlights from revlon is amazing.  I love the the barelight color.  it gives a radiant glow to the skin.  I also love the fact that it doesn't look like shimmer.  But it is really hard to find now because it was discontinued.  I get it on ebay.

mac hyperreal powders. I haven't found anything like them yet, although some of the victoria's secret powders are similar.

If you look on my portfolio, at the image from "polyester", you can see what the hyperreal powder photographs like.

Bourjois abricot or cannelle in the dispensing brush.  Amazing stuff.  Also, RICE POWDER - cannot live without it.

Best powder ever... cashmere powder.  It's rediculously expensive for an ounce size it's about $75.00 but amazing look and feel.

I also love Rice Powder for translucent with some color tones? I love Visiora's compact powders in 002 and 004

I really like Ben Nye. It's been around forever, and it's pretty inexpensive. The finish is flawless.

I received a sample of FACE ATELIER LOOSE POWDER #2 LIGHT when I ordered some of their foundations, and I absolutely love the softness in their powder- specially for under the eyes (to use on top of the creamy concealer)... it leaves a feather-light effect on the skin, and I've been using the small sample for days now....Im definitely ordering it!

Anyone else that has tried it? for any of their shoots that is.....  smile

Love, love , love ben nye's powders.  I think they're the best.  The finish is so flawless.

Mixing in a little shimmer powder with the ben nye powders looks so beautiful on camera.

RCMA No color p...LOVE it...LOVE it...LOVE IT! And the ghetto seasoned salt shaker that it comes in is always good for a laugh. I like mixing it with a bit of the Cinema Secrets Hollywood Lights shimmer powder/pigment for color and luminescence.

I've been dying to try HyperReal though...on Rachel's recommendation I'll definitely have to get it.

I also love mac hype real powder. I also love the mac minerilize skin finishes....not the shimmery ones, the matte ones. They are great for highlighting and a sheer dust all over gives a really luminous glow in pics. Check out my avatar.

I also love Graftobian high def powder. The coverage is flawless, looks great in pics and is great for someone who has less than perfect skin. In my port the gorgeous blonde in the red satin dress is wearing it.

Careful with the powder under the eyes.  Can set into the lines and make the subject look older.

Then why not just by the cornsilk at the drug store?  Cornsilk brand face powder that is... It's like 7.99 all cornsilk as well....
& IF I HAVE to use powder (because I normally don't) I will use the mineral skin powder from MAC ... LOVE IT!

Really? You don't use powder? I'd love to know why! Your port is so flawless...

I usually use their translucent loose powder. I love it, except that I wish the containers were a little bigger since I just realized I'm almost out and it feels like I've only had it for a short while. Although I have been doing a lot of makeup the past few months though I suppose...

Because powder is DULL... I ONLY use it 1 time during the original application (mineral from MAC) & then after that for touch ups I use kleenex in the shiney places... next to the nostrils & below the bottom lip & forehead... & the powder is ONLY for TV stuff... I don't use it for print unless it is the matte dry look... Powder on touch ups make's PASTE.. nasty, models & actors & actresses appreciate the fact that I don't cake them up...
