I work with a local Los Angeles based nonprofit which teaches youth impacted by foster care and incarceration the art of filmmaking. We produced up to 10+ films a year and host an annual film festival and awards with media, talent, filmmakers and more. My role is to secure hair and make up for our productions. This is an opportunity for anyone looking to build their portfolio and network. We are growing and always looking for opportunities to compensate our artists. Please find below some of the benefits of working with us.
I am an Aveda Institute graduate and previously an educator with Aveda Institute Portland and Vancouver. For the past 15yrs my heart and art has been with this organization and I have shared the amazing stories of our youth as well as the opportunity for my colleagues and cohort to experience growth.
