I am a lover of art. Ever since I was young boy dancing in my village at huge ceremonies and gatherings I new that performance, and creativity was the path for me. For the longest time I spent most of my energies in front of the limelight, in front of the camera and in front of the audience. This though was only the beginning of my creative journey. I ventured to be behind the camera when I started studying media and communications. I realized then that art and visual impression are not just to be appreciated but are tools for shaping society and the human mind. A powerful too, a noble tool, and a necessary tool for the progress of human society, In my experience here in Nigeria I realized there is a deadlock in the progress of the culture due to too much of a dogmatic, conservative and superstitious mindset in the people. This has “gingered” encouraged me to use my skills in communication, performance, production and photography to plant the seed of progressive ideologies into the heart of my fellow man. I am here to create art. I am here to change a society. Life is meaningless if it is not lived in the service of humanity.
