I'm Max Highstein. I love to collaborate with models to create great shots. Elaborate staging and fancy costumes are fine, but I'm much more interested in a model's soul and character. If that comes through the image, then we've done our job well.

My background is in both music and the visual arts. My most recent video was featured in the Santa Fe Film Festival. I shoot stills and video in my studio as well as on location, and my studio doubles as a recording studio for music and voice acting. Lots of different kinds of creative projects ongoing.

For photoshoots I like to conceptualize, do some location scouting, and create a mood board. Wardrobe is planned and sourced if necessary. I'm very open to a model's ideas and suggestions, and love it when they offer input.
