About Me

First published at 10 for her essay entitled “War,” Suzanne’s worldwide print, digital public affairs and advocacy PR continues to be sponsored by international media as it has for two decades. A journalist and sought-after political advocate for marginalized children and women since 2000, Suzanne's current focus is daily reporting on the real-time, pivotal humanitarian crises in Gaza. Suzanne’s 2009 – 2015 podcast, "The Body Politic," set in motion the first wave of radio investigative programming on stigmatized subjects such as multi-gender violence, addiction, behavioral health, generational trauma, juvenile homicide and strengthening protection laws for women and children. ‘The Body Politic’ podcast and its international following led to her recruitment on KABC Los Angeles for a weekly broadcast to 14M people throughout Southern and Central CA.

A Vanderbilt University Media Fellow in political and cultural human trauma, Suzanne is currently writing extensive content for projects on political isolation from historical, theological and ethnic perspectives. Her articles on the continued rise of political extremists have been published internationally, aided by advanced studies on human trauma with Bessel Van der Kolk, MD, and Richard Schwartz, Founder of Internal Family Systems.

A recognized leader in advocacy public affairs, Suzanne initiated Raven Ridge Media & Mgmt in 2006., which provided representation and crises management to a full roster of artists, politicians and NGO’s including Sen. Edward Vincent of California, Christies New York, Haitian Children's Council, Violin Virtuoso Elizabeth Pitcairn ("The Red Violin"), Hollywood Park Racetrack Defense Fund and City Council presentations. As a magazine writer/editor, her features span Aretha Franklin to Doctors Without Borders' Mary-Jo Frawley; Wolfgang Puck to world medical pioneer Richard Grossman; A&M Records Jerry Moss to broadcast featurettes on professional jockeys, including Dubai Cup Winner and “Sopranos” guest star Aaron Gryder, Triple Crown winner Victor Espinosa and Animal Planets’ Kayla Stra from “Jockeys.”

Suzanne is included in the 2024 edition of "Who's Who in America." A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, she holds a 4.0 Certificate from Pierce School of Journalism, studied with Chairman Benjamin Salazar at Glendale College's Addiction program and continues intensive research on genocide and racial trauma after her Fellowship at Vanderbilt.
