If you have a hi-res JPEG version of this, I'd like to play around with it. :-)

I use Lightroom to do my basic developing & color balancing.. Then onto CS2 or CS3 for final work.  In this case I used my favorite retouching tool AKVIS stamp t do the pore level work then I used Imogenic Portraiture for the portrait & glamour variants, and the stylized is my own variant of the portrait edit which is done with a softlight ultra sharpened B&W layer above it.

John Ng:  I like the edit you did.. good color tone, good skin treatment.  Just a little over sharpened on the left side of image.

Sosh:  Awww thank you hun!  I greatly appreciate the time u took.  I like the 2nd version more then the 1st.  Interesting touch on the eyes.  Only one small catch, model wouldn't be able to use the image in her book because her natural eye color is different. sad

DE Studios:  Very very nice work on the skin.  Right up there with Diable's retouch.  Also nice touch on the brackground as well.  How did you do your skin retouching?  Can you list steps / tools used?   Images is just a tad too desturated to use in her book, but the effect looks very nice.

I am really impressed by the edits everyone has been throwing out.. Wow..  We all have to collaborate and write up a manual or something on different editing processes.

But when she walks in to the casting she's still the incredibly average girl on the right with crappy skin so unless this is some esoteric exercise in futility WHAT is the purpose of spending hours on someone who it not going to book a job?

Hardly average.  As she walks in being 5'10" with 32-24-33 measurements.  She is a runway model.

Try running it on the high rez version.  save the new image in 8bit mode, and then post it somewhere, so I can see the print version.

I'd like to remind everyone that this is not a thread for cheapshots, snippy comments, generalizations of other people's work.

If you're not posting a picture, or posting an edit, or commenting politely on other's work, keep it out of the thread.  PM each other if you want to get snippy.  Just don't do it here.
