you got a point. but i don't think we need any people who are too uptight to be at the meet and greet. i don't want to work with people who are uptight, let alone hangout with them.

by comparison, the last meet and greet was pretty tame. nudity started right when the door opened at the meet and greet last year and it was a much bigger event and it went really well. the few people who started the drama got the point that their behavior is not welcome. so, there.

besides, i am a GWC. my goal is to hit on models, MUA and the model's escort. if i happen to get any good photos as a result, it is pure accident.

But yes, it is great to have a group of folks get together with a fun and relaxed atmosphere.   It is great to network with others of similar interests and goals.
And the best is... the friends we make at these events and actually look forward to seeing each other again.

Exactly!  I'm looking forward to picking on Leo and Wolf, while running around getting to know everyone new, that I may know from online, or i may have never seen their work before!  From the last one I got like 4 shoots!  That and I got to have a good time in a fun place.  I want to go up on the roof before we lose the light this time!

Yeah, speaking as a model who was naked the whole night at the one in November of '06, I can say that I am still finding terrible pictures of me on ports here from photographers I didn't even know sneaking in the mix and snapping pics.  Luckily, I'm not credited. 

I think nudity is a wonderful thing, obviously, look at my port.  I do however think it has a time and a place and truthfully, as a woman you must be careful.  If that makes me an uptight gal, then so be it. 

Personally I think it should be called the "greet and repeat" since it seems the same cast of characters will be attending this one as the last. 

I'd really like to see it open up to a whole range of folks and interests.  That's just me again and my rebellious ways, I suppose. 

Or maybe I've just lived and learned, I can't tell the difference.

That comment i made was not directed towards anyone in general, i was just making a statement

most creepy people don't hangout at the forum and they're anti-social in most cases. so, we should drop this issue now.

as for the event, i think it is more of a party than anything else. there is nothing wrong with that? call it what you want, wolf and i are going to be there. so, be there or be square. spread the words to cool people.

I'm pretty sure Wolf is fuming because of the violation of common decency you've described.  I am too.  If you know of people who took shots of you and didn't credit you or send you copies, please by all means send me a note or email and I'll ask them to share what is supposed to be shared with you.

Of course if it's just that they're bad photos... well... you can't walk around naked at a public event without a few bad photos being taken of you.  You take the clothes off, you take the risks of that happening.

hey, call it whatever you want miss thing, but that's the idea.  Everyone who came to the last one should come to the next one if they enjoyed themselves... as always some new faces will show up and get to join in on the festivities and get to know the group and join it if they'd like.

wolf just randomly tagging people last time and there are a few more people show up. i think it should be a good event for models because they can see who is the creep and who isn't. it would be easier to filter who they want to work with in the future.

I have Tagged a few Models I have worked with in the past to get them some more exposure, also a MUA and another Photographer

I am gonna keep stiring up interest in these with other models.

I figure Models should be shared and not labeled ones property. as they work with a common base of photographers on a daily basis
