I don't use a camera myself, you are more likely to get a response to this in the photographers forum.

I started with one of those Kodak 110mm cameras with the flash cube, but my parents took it away -- I was 5.

Then my brother lent me his Canon SLR for 6 months, sorry I don't know the model, but it looked like a rebel-type body.  I loved it. Then he took it away, that was 1993.

Then I bought a Nikon 2200, then a Nikon 3100, then s Fuji s5000, and finally, I settled in with my Nikon D70.

20D for quick things...

1Ds Mark II for serious shoots because it is the monster to carry around... But the image quality is amazing.

Like Melvin a lot (more than 100 i think, my collection is half frame oriented and very design&rare one) it's hard to work with that (when you own Hassi...) but very happinessfull, here some samples :

I use whatever I have available to me. If it's my own camera's, it's a digi rebel and 20d. A few clients of mines demand I use their cameras and it's a Nikon D100 and a NikonD2x.

I'm using, dont laugh....An Olympus C2100. I am upgrading to either a Nikon D50 or D70 asap. I'll still keep the C2100 though, it's unbeatable for infrared photography.

I think I'm going to pull out my 6006 soon. Hadn't shot with it since I got my N90s (which was about 5-6 years ago).

I just picked up my N90s again the other day.

I know what you mean....I need to break mine out again soon.  I bought the d70 earlier this year and it's all I've shot with for the most part.  The 6006 is just such a GOOD piece of equipment.  Have never had a problem with it.

No experiance, but I think the pretty yellow should match a hat or your shoes at least when you shoot it.

If you shoot digital now, why would you want to start spending all that cash on deveolping film? Yuck!!!

The ONLY problem I had with the 6006 was the clip on the camera back. It broke, and I had to send it to the shop to get it fixed. It was then that I decided to get the N90s to be my main camera, and the 6006 the backup. Now, the 6006 is on the practice squad. lol

I don't know about you, but there's nothing like the sound of an SLR when the shutter goes off. smile

Why the 'S' versions?  Simple... never buy a camera or a car on its first year out, as all the bugs are ironed out in later releases.  Always wait until a new 'improved' version of an early (and relatively successful) camera comes out, as it will usually result in a more dependable and feature packed upgrade... wink

Haha that was my first real digital cam, I actually did my first ports with it! on cam flash  lol. Images were horrible, but I liked them at the time.
