Just purchased a Macro Reverse Ring for my E-300 only to find out it doesn't seem to work with the E-300. Does anyone have any information as to why this would be so?

I suspect it would be due to the 4/3 system and perhaps I need to purchase a "normal" lens to use for Macro work.

It's not like it was a huge purchase or anything, just it was very hard to find any decent information about compatibility with what we consider "standard" accessories for photography. If anyone has any info that would be great.

I could e-mail Olympus but at the moment I would rather ask my peers than some corporate suit.
