It hides the taste of Jager some people don't like and should be the color of dark tea. You can drink this all night and get lit up w/o getting a hangover in the morning. If the liquor is good then you shouldn't need a mixer. Mixers popularity comes from prohibition when the liquor was so bad that you couldn't drink it without all that extra stuff.
