C'mon MM let's stand up for one of our own --- I'll start with $50. Whether all you can add is $1 it could add up quick... Let's make a goal of $20,000. Who knows it could be you next... let's stick together and show our support. Big business may have backing that can overpower an individual... but lets make a statement... saying not when we stick together.

Here's a link to make donations:

http://community.livejournal.com/lithiu … 15492.html

You can also by prints or a t-shirt to contribute to the fund

To learn more go to Lithium Picnic's website
http://www.lithiumpicnic.com/gb/index.php

BTW my time available to be online during the day is very limited... if this drops to the 2nd page and you notice, please go in and give it a bump

Have any lawyer members stepped up to plate and offered pro bono?

I'm not aware of a single attorney on MM admitted to practice in Oregon.

Oh good Christ.  Save some starving children, or something that actually makes a difference to the world at large.

Money sent to help starving children, cure AIDSs, etc., usually ends up in the bank accounts of corrupt government officials.

umm...I'm pretty sure we can do both.  This just wouldn't really be the place for a "SAVE THE STARVING ORPHANS" thread.

OP, I'm already looking at buying a t-shirt and as soon as I get paid I'll make a donation.  I think on lithium picnic's website it has a link to a place to make donations.  I'd say let's get some info in here, and some links, and it'll take care of itself.

EDIT Found it.

http://community.livejournal.com/lithiu … 15492.html
there is a 'make a donation' button.

I'd donate to the Lucas Chapman therapist fund if he'd commit to seeing a shrink.

Over the years, I've donated tens of thousands of dollars to save starving children, cancer research aids research and countless other causes.

Since LP is not in immediate danger of death, I only donated $100 to the LP fund today and bought 2 $50 prints.

I agree.  Help LP out. Every bit helps.

Isn't this something that would interest the ASMP? If I am correct: they will back him if he has a case and it effects the community.

Self-sufficiency is good.

Having friends who care enough to help is better.

Just saying.

LP didn't do anything wrong....He just didn't fail when they wanted him to.
I don't think you'll be pissing off any big businesses, so you'll probably be ok.

BTW, I didn't recognize who you were, since u got rid of the circa 1982 Glamour Shots avatar. Your new avatar is a big improvement.

I have already bought numerous prints, a tee shirt and donated money straight up. I set aside 20-50 bucks a pay check to send to him.

SG is a nightmare. I stopped my subscription to them and put it towards Apneas site to help out a little too. Its been one of the best things I have done!

I've bought the shirt, plan on buying another to make a corset out of and am working on an outfit for Apnea to auction off. As soon as payday gets here, I'll throw in some cash too.

Yay LP.

Actually it's unlikley this is something ASMP would back.  The case appears to be a "breach of contract" sort of thing.

If Phil was an ASMP member he could call the ASMP National office for free legal advice on the matter though.
