Someone pm'ed me for the thread wherein I listed what agencies want to see in terms of pictures. I think it bears repeating once in a while since everyone gets their panties in a bunch when thinking about going to open go-sees at agencies.  Bear in mind, this what FASHION agencies want, not necessarily commercial. Glamour modeling is a different animal altogether.

They look for girls and women (16 and older) between 5'9" and 6'0". (This is what they want; I don't make up the rules.)

Snapshots, polaroids or digital:

From the shoulders up:

- forward w/ smile
- forward w/ no smile
- both profiles

From the waist up:

- forward w/ smile
- forward w/ no smile
- both profiles

Full length:

- forward w/ smile
- both profiles


Please remember:
1. It is NOT necessary to spend a lot of money on photographs. (!!!!!)

2. Please take the following shots:
  - 1 headshot (face close-up) with a smile
  - 1 headshot without a smile
  - 1 full length body shot
  - 1 length body shot

3. Do NOT wear makeup.
4. Keep your hair natural and away from face.
5. Do not pose.
6. Use a plain (preferably white) wall.
7. Wear a two-piece swimsuit
8. Photographs can either be Polaroids, snapshots or digital pictures.

Keep in mind that scouts want to see your natural beauty!

The face should be bare or with minimal makeup. Photos should include some with hair up and some down. Remember to include measurements (bust, waist, hips and height). If mailing the photos, the back of the photo must have contact information including name, address, and phone number.
