Where can i find cheap BACKDROPS
I might have missed the topic in the "where to find forum" or there might not even be one. I'm looking for cheap backdrops, paper ones are fine. I was hoping to find some pin-up backdrop colors, salmon, sky blue, bright red. i usually do my shopping online during lunch breaks at work, so i cant really go out and buy them. Anyone have a good website they order from? Jul 13 07 01:07 pm Link Cheap backdrops? I got a smallish, but useable black crushed velvet one that way. Jul 13 07 01:21 pm Link Walmart usually has fabric for $1 or $2 per yard, that usually is a great solution. JoAnn has coupons that you can get for 40% off of anything regular price and their fabric options are usually pretty awesome. Some sell it by the pound just so they don't have to measure it out. Jul 13 07 01:21 pm Link e-bay auctions from amvona.com I have 20 or so, never paid more than $30. for a 10x24 muslin....huge variety watch their listing and be patient also on ebay, if you don't know "realfabricman" find him.....unreal deals with free shipping out of hollywood, I just picked up a 50yard 108" wide roll of white tulle for well under $100. delivered....can't beat that, even at mallwart (and he is a nice guy!) Jul 13 07 01:27 pm Link Ok, I remember reading or hearing somewhere of someone using the old highway signboards as backdrops?? You know the back lighted vinyl type??? Has anyone heard anything like this or used them?? What I remember is this photographer got them for free, cause they are waste to the sign company... and they are large and seamless... and just might have some interesting graphics on them... Depending on what size you need they have lots of cheap large fabric. If you can sew, then that's definitely what Id suggest. Aside from their fabric, again if you can sew (and maybe a tiny amount of PS), King size flat sheets are 102"x108" (8.5'x9") Here, the Tupplur is $20. and comes in beige, black, light gray, and white (for easy dying).
