October 25, 2013 10:36pm This is a nice and simple shot that grabs the viewer's attention with the splash of colour in the model's dress and the interesting geometrical pattern of the hammock. The model is really working the camera here - her expression is provocative and the hand clutching the dress strap reinforces this. I rather like the dark background as this really makes the white hammock 'pop' out from the screen. The lighting is nicely diffused with just a hint of modelling shadow under the chin. The tight cropping gives the image intimacy and this is entirely in keeping with the subject matter. In conclusion this is a well executed image in terms of technical and artistic ability.
