Reminder to all to keep their new posts in the right/proper forums smile
If they aren't, they will be moved.
Thanks!

Hi Elle  smile

I have a serious critique thread going, and it looks like ALL the existing threads got dumped in to the F&G section.  Do I have to start over, or can I CAM and ask for it to be moved?  Ditto for some of the other ongoing threads like Professor Oni's "Rope Bondage" thread?  smile

EDIT:  I take it back, now there appears to still be a general Critique forum, I don't know why it showed up that way.

So I will amend my question to say "Will everything be sorted in to 1 of the 2 subforums?"
If not, what's the criteria for posting in the main forum?

CAN we request that a thread be moved to a subforum?

No.

The main forum is still the default forum for general critiques.  But if it's a game, it belongs in F&G, and if you're looking for a more serious atmosphere, it belongs in Serious Critique.

CAN we request that a thread be moved to a subforum?

Sure, but if it doesn't fit, we won't do it.

Serious Critiques is for the more formal full-portfolio, full album, or multi-shot recent work critiques.

"Which image should be my avatar" etc. go in the main section, not here.

If the main critique section is "short attention span theater," this part is the exact opposite.

Makes sense.  My critique thread is a thoughtful, serious, and in-depth one covering the profile & the entire portfolio with detailed notes so I'd like to see it in here.  Should the request be submitted by CAM?
Thanks!

Just post here for the next few minutes. We're around at the moment. In the future, CAM is better.

The one thing that occurs to me is that, unlike my similar previous in-depth critiques, I started this one with a somewhat tongue-in-check title, even tho the thread itself is serious.  So if I need to restart it I understand.  I DID have a lot of people in line before my long holiday brigging, tho, and I'd like to be able to address them here as well as continue.  smile
