What do you think about those retouches?
How do you think I can improve them?

-Love that you are very aware of keeping skin texture!
-remove the neck lines
-more hair tidying where it falls over the face, mainly just the few out of place pieces on the bottom strand near the nose just to give the illusion that the rest is just as tidy.  Trust me, tidying the key parts makes it look like the entire thing is cleaner.
-desaturated the skin tones a little..or take out some yellow.  I like that it pops but its a teeny bit orange for my taste

-difficult to tell overall, looks quite good:)
-I like the contouring of her face, not sure how much is original lighting and how much you added in after, but it looks good.
-watch the contrast and color addition on the eyes, I'd reduce that layer by 50%.  You'll find that just a SLIGHT increase in color for the eyes makes a huge difference and is subtle enough to look like it hasn't been edited, yours look a little artificial.
-I would clone and heal out some of the wrinkles on her sleeve, just the really distracting ones

-eyes are waay to saturated, remember what I said above and only subtly increase eye color.  It looks like you removed some vessels as well...which is good but you still have to leave some realism in the eye, they look a little shocking in your farther away image.
-Your skin texture is awesome, I would probably just blur the "texture" layer VERY slightly so it is not so sharp.
-Skin tone is a little off...too much red or magenta?  It looks like it may have been a toughie for skin tone correction in the first place, some images are really tricky but you got it close.

Hope this is constructive, Overall you are really on the right track! Just remember which things to tone down, and to step back and make sure that there is nothing distracting in your image or fake looking.

Good luck:)

on your latest one, if i were to do it, i would take out creases and smooth out a little bit more on skin. still look kinda blocky (harsh shadows and quite bright highlights). her face looks kinda hot too (in term of color).

the one above that, subdue blotchiness on her skin.

just imo smile

thanks for the feedback
on both I want to avoid "the" smooth skin that results when using d&b,

for the rope-pic I think the little blotchiness that is there makes her more vulnerable, adding to the image...

for the latest I wanted to get the skin to something like this:
http://www.sostav.ru/articles/rus/2008/ … nal-01.jpg

.. I did want it with a bit more colour... but maybe it's still too much as you say.
but I find the creases to be essential to the projected image...

about the shadows under her nose... just got a bit lazy there.. but maybe (i'm not sure) adds to the "bite me" feeling of the image... tongue

here's another one for critique:
