The infamous scene from Dracula as the Wolf in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992). Inspired an oil painting by myself which was then rendered into Photoshop removing all traces of significant beast features. The idea was to create a simple mock poster for a quick rehersal to suggest the importance of outlines in connection to the subplot of my play 'The Intense Fairytale - Hyperion to a Satyr'. Where the image of lust was so powerful that one would not have to rely on intricate details to pinpoint a connective theory.

Editing wise, Lots of curve work, colour manipulation, transitional layering, ink outlines. Image was 'pinched' to create the Heart shape face and vortex shapes appear as a remainder of this technique. Angled Strokes and Filters to enhance Image.

If anyone is interested in the Intense Fairytale check out my blog for Writers Notes. www.privateillumination.blogspot.com or for the official photographs http://www.flickr.com/photos/guerrillaz … 8364/show/

I'm not into Goth either but I do have one.
This was sort of a challenege for both the model and I.

The tail is a mix of three stock tails plus an awful lot of clone work. The nipple rings were made by a friend of mine as was the chain. The hair is made from about 15 layers of pieces of a horse's mane. The model was shot in chromakey and she was holding a green walking stick, which was removed in chromakey and replaced with a stock sceptor that was modified a bit. The background is a mix of several stock backgrounds and the water was made from several layers, styles and gradients.
This was the firts time I'd ever done digital make up as well. It was a real learning experience.

Entry: Lacy In The Sky With Black Widows
https://i199.photobucket.com/albums/aa159/jtiasgaard/Lacy-Hand-CompositeMM.jpg

First, I saw there were no entries for today, so I decided to go dig up something so that there would at least be two.  As I went to post this, I see others had the same thoughts and have since entered.

As for mine...  Model shot in a vintage dress recreation with black widow.  Took stock shot of hand to put her in a new environment.  Brought in marble texture, fog, and clouds all shot by me.  Blended together into this.  In truth, if I had a couple more hours to work on this, I'm sure it could be great.  But I have to stop here...

Good luck everybody.

18+ Blood and gore

Lizzie Borden took an axe
And gave her mother forty whacks.
When she saw what she had done
She gave her father forty-one.

Photo of model was shot and processed with photoshop. Several photo's of the model's hand were shot with one being selected. This image was extracted and pasted onto floor. Bone and muscle tissue are from another photo of a toy severed hand and pasted and blended onto real hand. Dodge, burn and airbrush was used to blend the hand onto the image.

Super Late entry! sorry!

https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/101128/22/4cf34be477d20.jpg

I b&w up the image with channel mixer to keep the darkness to it but with still letting the texture seep out. Then  I added texture to in in the filter (can't remember what one i did for the life of me) and then I blacked out the eyes (smugged it) then gaussian blur the texture.
