I did this image for a retouching contest but I forgot where the thread went

This is my first time using micro d+b, and I color toned it a bit as well.

Best way to train your eyes for what it is a good retouching is to pay attention to as many details as you can to a professional before and after retouching so you can see what  needs to be changed. I cannot give you critique for this because it doesnt look retouched to me. With patience and much practice you will get there definitely.

is that the contrast and DR you were looking for?, the transition zones seem to go quite green.
