Is this from plug in like Alien skin or something? I would agree with above that black and white for this would be more flattering. I assume the color was less than spectacular. The reason I say is assuming you care about beauty of the model, here the eye whites  and skin look sick and unhealthy. Desaturation and the HDR tend to do that. My clients is important they look good, look healthy even if is bad day for them, is why I don't do that for them. But I see many photographers doing this so maybe it is just me.
