You may want to keep them separated since dogs are a fairly common part of a hyena's diet.  Also, you may have better luck with cat food than dog food since hyenas are more closely related to cats than to dogs.  But I'm still hoping that this is all an elaborate joke since it almost never ends well when a hyena is kept as a pet.

"Purple poodle" is difficult to say quickly, even in my head. Maybe not for Evelyn Wood, but it was for me.

OP: You've made a wise choice. I hate poodles.

so it likes eating cat food and dogs? ok.
The poodle is my roommates and i hate that thing. i hope the hyena eats it!
perfect timing too cause my roommate is out of town for the next week.
i can just say it ran away or something.

I suggest telling your roommate that it was taken by a pugnacious pretty purple poodle pilferer and say it very quickly a few times to make it more believable that you're also upset by the loss.

I don't know what to do with this hyena, it jumped the fence into the neighbors yard. terrified their kids, but it's actually quite friendly.

They don't seem to be very fussy eaters    Dead or alive doesn't matter.

I've been marathoning The Twilight Zone on NetFlix, so in this moment, that makes perfect sense to me.
