After all the rain we have had my garden is bursting with fresh tomatoes and various hot peppers and herbs. I sense pizza is on the menu tonight. I may even need to make up some salsa.

I sense  "Make Your Own"  with a garden full of fresh ingredients.

A bread maker machine takes all the work out of making the dough.

It was fresh trader joes dough. $0.99 a lb you just can't beat it. Yes, homemade much better but then my kitchen is filled with flour.

Pizza was red sauce, shiitake mushroom, thick sliced heirloom tomatoes from my mutant 7-8' plants, a Fatali hot pepper thinly sliced and applied sparingly, various charcuterie, shredded and fresh motzzerella, and fresh basil from the backyard. Mmmmmm.

Have enough ingredients for a 2nd round. May add some sundried tomatoes.

I want pizza too,
sometimes on the way home from getting pizza, I'd think.
You know what would hit the spot right now? a slice and a brew.

Hmm,

Fresh tomato is the best!! I miss my old toaster made pizza when I lived in a place with a garden, in Chicago, over 20 years ago!!

I think I'm starting to feel over being a travel nurse for my current employer... liking California too much to go anytime soon!

Now back to pizza, albeit not garden pizza.

I'm looking to try pizza at one of these two places in a couple weekends:

or

and I will gladly take any reviews into consideration!

So far I've only arranged two TFP photo shoots where it was Trade For Pizza, but I might have to try this again.

If you are ever in North County SD check out a Pizza Port Brewing. All of them are walkable to the beach.
